Get to know me
I was born in Auburn, Alabama, and have attended Auburn City Schools from kindergarten through 10th grade. I am currently in the fall semester of my senior year of high school after transitioning to virtual learning and accelerating my academic plan to graduate one year early in May 2027. This transition has allowed me to dedicate more time to developing my career in photography, strategic communications, and digital media while gaining valuable professional experience.
The summer before my freshman year, I was offered a position at Auburn University as a Multimedia Technician. In this role, I produced a wide variety of digital media for college faculty, coordinated field trips and educational workshops for local high school students, and helped promote interest in forestry and natural resources among younger generations. I have since been promoted to Multimedia Coordinator for the Native Systems Restoration Lab, where I continue to oversee multimedia production, support communications initiatives, and create visual content that advances the lab's outreach and educational mission.
I recently concluded my internship with Lauren Beasley, an established photographer in East Alabama who partners with numerous local businesses and organizations. During this internship, I expanded my technical photography skills, gained valuable client experience, and developed a stronger understanding of professional photography, branding, and business operations.
Building upon that experience, I recently began serving as a Communications Intern with Opelika Main Street. In this role, I manage social media platforms, develop and maintain digital media campaigns, capture photo and video content at community events, meet with downtown Opelika businesses to understand their communication needs, assist with marketing initiatives, and support event planning and coordination.
I plan to attend Auburn University to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. Beginning my freshman year, I also intend to pursue a Marketing and Communications Student Worker position within one of Auburn University's colleges or schools, should an appropriate opportunity become available. During my undergraduate studies, I aspire to serve in leadership roles for The Glomerata and The Auburn Plainsmen. Following the completion of my bachelor's degree, I intend to pursue a Master of Arts in Communication while serving as a graduate assistant for the School of Communication and Journalism.
